Typically, being a billionaire comes with a lavish lifestyle including the most exquisite meal options that implement healthy eating habits. Well, that isn’t the case for President Donald Trump.
According to a newly released book titled: Let Trump Be Trump, Corey Lewandowski and Davis Bossie describe their time in Trump’s 2016 campaign, including Trump’s appetite that “seems to know no bounds.”
For instance, one of his favorite dinners included “two Big Macs, two Fillet-O-Fish, and a chocolate malted.” This meal is a total of 2,672 calories—the recommendation for a man of Trump’s age and body type is 2200 a day. This is just ONE of Trump’s meals through out the day. Also, it is jam-packed with 117 grams of fat, 3,556 milligrams of sodium, and 326 milligrams of cholesterol.
Judging by Trump’s sporadic outbursts, the excess cholesterol and sodium is not good for his health. As the American Heart Association warns that an individual must not exceed 2,400 milligrams of sodium per day. Trump’s unhealthy habits must improve if he plans on running again in 2020 (let’s hope Mueller charges him with treason before then). And while his only exercise include using his fingers to tweet, Trump’s blood pressure is most likely going to sky-rocket as well.
The book also noted that Trump’s diet contains the following food groups:
McDonald’s, Kentucky Fried Chicken, pizza, and Diet Coke.
In addition, Washington Post reported what Trump snacks on during his plane rides.
“The plane’s cupboards were stacked with Vienna Fingers, potato chips, pretzels and many packages of Oreos because Trump, a renowned germaphobe, would not eat from a previously opened package.”
For a man that’s running an entire country, he should probably consider a better diet. Then again, eating so poorly may result in him physically not being able to run a nation.
