Donald Trump’s behavior and comments toward women have been so disgraceful that it’s hardly surprising to hear that publications actually had to go to the trouble of covering up Trump’s disrespectful, misogynistic remarks.

Trump’s worst offending comments made headlines last year when he was exposed on the infamous Access Hollywood tape bragging about how he sexually assaults women. The president said:

“You know, I’m automatically attracted to beautiful — I just start kissing them. It’s like a magnet. Just kiss. I don’t even wait. And when you’re a star, they let you do it. You can do anything. Grab ’em by the pussy. You can do anything.”

Just a few days ago, Trump tried to deny those comments and claim that the tape was fake, but as more of his remarks about women come to light, his whining is hardly believable.

Apparently, Trump had made a comment during a 2000 interview with Maximum Golf magazine  that was so disrespectful and vulgar that the magazine had to actually change the statement. The Daily Beast reported that Trump told journalist Michael Corcoran that “there is nothing in the world like first-rate p*ssy.”

Those comments never came to light (until now, of course) because the golf magazine respectfully covered it up, changing the word “p*ssy” to “talent” in an attempt to save Trump’s image.

Trump and his team have shrugged off these comments as harmless “locker room talk”, despite the fact that the president has had a series of sexual assault allegations against him, one of which involves him raping a teenage girl. Not to mention the concrete evidence of the president admitting sexual assault on the Access Hollywood tape. Trump’s comments are far from locker room banter – they are a reflection of his blatant misogyny in full force.

Trump’s comments are revealed at a time where there is a severe uptick of high-profile male figures being outed for sexual assault and harassment. We hope that the president will eventually be held accountable for his actions as well.
