President Donald Trump is just entering his second week in Asia and he is already showing signs that he can’t handle the pressure of being overseas. Forget about being present in meetings, Trump can’t even manage to stay alert and awake during a toast!
A very tired-looking Trump opened and closed his eyes repeatedly during the toast of the Vietnamese President, which had to be translated for him from Vietnamese to English (not like it mattered).
Daily Mail captured images of Trump mentally checking out of the banquet:
At the banquet Quang acknowledged “difficulties” in the US – Vietnamese relationship over the years and the “ups and downs of history” that preceded the current era of “peace, stability, cooperation, and development.” After a long speech, Trump briefly wrapped it up saying:
“We have come a long way, the United States and Vietnam. We’ve seen it from both sides of the picture, and this is the pleasant side.”
In the past, Trump has claimed to prefer three to four hours of sleep. On many occasions, he shows classic signs of sleep deprivation including bad decision making, inability to focus, irritability and impulsiveness (which explains his middle of the night/early morning tweet storms). Honestly, most people would be sleep deprived if they too were actively humiliating our nation and setting us up for a nuclear war.
