Despite that she barely speaks publicly about it anymore, Melania Trump is apparently still quietly involved in her campaign to stop bullying.
No one can blame Melania for abandoning her cyber bullying campaign right at the beginning of her husband’s presidency – he’s pretty much the king of online harassment. Her campaign was doomed from the start – especially after she defended Trump’s Twitter attacks on another woman, oblivious of how much she was hurting her own cause. But now, it seems that she’s forgotten about the irony of the situation, because she made a special visit to a Michigan middle school on Monday to teach children about “bullying.”
Apparently, even children know she’s full of sh*t and has no credibility, thanks to her husband. At one point during this strange visit, Melania crouched down to speak do a group of children and stated that it was “important to treat each other with respect.” You don’t need to look any further than the facial expressions on these young faces to know that no one believes her. See for yourself:
Those are some strange words coming out of the mouth of a woman whose husband is pretty much the worst example that modern America has ever given children. And it gets worse. Melania continued her little lesson, stating that leaders’ actions are important because children are “always watching and listening”:
“By our own example, we must teach children to be good stewards of the world they will inherit. We need to remember that they are always watching and listening. It is our responsibility to take the lead in teaching children the values of empathy and communication that are at the core of kindness, mindfulness, integrity, and leadership.”
That would technically be great advice to give children, if her husband wasn’t Donald Trump – a man who has bullied, insulted, and embarrassed Americans every day of his presidency.
What a disaster. You can watch the whole thing go down below:
