Donald Trump has a REALLY hard time digesting the fact that people don’t like him, which is why he goes nuts every time someone tells the truth about him in public.
Now he’s currently targeting ESPN anchor Jemele Hill because she called him out for being a white supremacist and bigot earlier this week. On Monday, Hill tweeted:
“Donald Trump is a white supremacist who has largely surrounded himself w/ other white supremacists. Trump is the most ignorant, offensive president of my lifetime. His rise is a direct result of white supremacy. Period. He is unqualified and unfit to be president. He is not a leader. And if he were not white, he never would have been elected.”
In response to this exposure, Trump has basically lost his sh*t, and is going so far as to try and get Hill fired for using her freedom of speech. In today’s daily press briefing, White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders suggested that Trump would like to get Hill removed from her position as a journalist. This was brought to light when a reporter asked:
“I just wanted to read a comment from an influential African American sportscaster from ESPN yesterday, who said, “Donald Trump is a white supremacist who has largely surrounded himself with other white supremacists. His rise is a direct result of white supremacy, period. He’s unqualified and unfit to be President.”
Sanders tried to play dumb and responded:
“I’m not sure if he’s aware, but I think that’s one of the more outrageous comments that anyone could make, and certainly something that I think is a fireable offense by ESPN.”
First of all, Trump is VERY aware of what Hill said because he is glued to all media coverage about him – and is particularly sensitive to the bad feedback. It’s obvious that Trump gave Sanders this script as a warning to anyone else who dares to speak their mind about his bigotry.
